Request for an extension

Dear representatives of Wikimedia Foundation and Funds Dissemination Committee,

Hereby I announce that Wikimedia Eesti has not been able to publish grant progress report in time (deadline being the 30th of July 2015) and therefore is in need of an extension.

The reasons for such delay are related to some encountered difficulties in programmatic work, organizing of 2 upcoming international events in Estonia (seminar of Finno-Ugric Wikipedias and Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2015), as well as problems related to reporting on past activities and expenditures.

As a result, Wikimedia Eesti applies to an extension of 1 week to publish the progress report for the first half of the year (proposed new deadline being the 6th of August).

We thank you for your kind attention and apologize for any possible inconveniences! Wikimedia Eesti will be working on the report and hope to publish it as soon as possible!

Dear KLove (WMF), thank you for the extension. We have been working on the report and made progress, but unfortunately we have not been able to complete and publish it. Therefore Wikimedia Eesti is asking for one more week extension, proposed new deadline being the 13th of August. We apologize for inconveniences and hope to be back on track soon! Dear representatives of Wikimedia Foundation,

Not being able to publish the progress report for the second requested extension and after consulting program officer Winifred Olliff, we have understood that it makes more sense for us to ask for an extension to publish the progress report for the end of August, i.e. 31st of August 2015. Hopefully this extension will help us to deal better with other issues at hand and also will result in a more complete and useful report.

Dear Winifred Olliff (WMF Program Officer),

As we have encountered difficulties with our education program for secondary schools and in order to keep our relationship healthy with Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, we have not been able to concentrate fully on the reporting issues related to WMF grants and therefore are asking for one last extension for the progress report until the 1st of October 2015. We really do believe that the report will then be finally published!
