Project Plan
[edit]Activities
[edit]Tell us how you'll carry out your project. What will you and other organizers spend your time doing?
The Conference is a two day event that will bring together Climate and environmental activists, advocates, experts, academia and young people to discuss the adverse impact of Climate Change and environmental pollution on the rights and freedom of Ghanaians and how they can leverage on the Wikimedia Projects to create awareness and search solutions. We organize two events. One in Accra to cover the southern part of the country and the other in Kumasi for the Northern sector.
How will you let others in your community know about your project (please provide links to where relevant communities have been notified of your proposal, and to any other relevant community discussions)? Why are you targeting a specific audience?
Promotional flyers will be created and promoted online through various social media platforms. Invitation will be sent to identified stakeholder groups like environmental and climate groups, youth groups, academia, persons living with disabilities, etc.
What will you have done at the end of your project? How will you follow-up with people that are involved with your project?
- An outreach dashboard will be created to track the contribution of participants.
- Participants will be encouraged to join existing wikimedia Communities eg; Wikimedians for Sustainable Development.
Are you running any in-person events or activities? If so, you will need to complete the steps outlined on the Risk Assessment protocol related to COVID-19. When you have completed these steps, please provide a link to your completed copy of the risk assessment tool below:
