Goals

[edit]

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?

Yes, the goal of the project was met, I am really happy with the relationship established with the schools, and reaching out to highschool students and enlightening the student about the Wikimedia mission was the biggest highlight for me.

Learning

[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
The project execution worked well, we made sure we had confirmation from schools before starting the walk. My team members and volunteers were also amazing.
The participants and the high school institutions showed genuine interest in the project
  • What did not work so well?
Most school times and dates were clashing, and it took a lot to work around the time, but it was resolved in the end.
Also Media budget wasn't included to have a photographer at all the events.
  • What would you do differently next time?
Offer a date and time to the school, so they work with our schedule, but still be flexible with changes.
