Rationale

I consulted with a lawyer and found out that the income tax with this grant to be paid, because it does not meet the requirements under which the grant is exempt from taxes (relative to funders). I made a mistake when previously searched for information on grants, and was confident that the grant is not taxed. It's my fault, but if such a change is acceptable, then it would make my work on the project easier.

Income tax in Russia is 13%, so the income tax on 12,000 US $ will be 12,000 / (1 - 0.13) - 12,000 ≈ 1,793 US $
