Participating in the 4th CARLIGH International Conference to run a WikiCite side event to engage librarians and industry players who in one way or the other, are directly involved in creating or managing citations and bibliographic data.
The conference seeks to bring together researchers, faculty, scientists, ICT professionals, data analysts, publishers, and book vendors to deliberate on and share experiences in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and access to information.

A GoFundMe campaign to support Sadik Shahadu to honor an invitation to travel and participate in the CivilServant Research Summit on 19 August 2019 in Stockholm. Practitioners from around the world like Sadik gathered at the Summit to discuss how Wikipedia projects can test their ideas to help their communities thrive. Global Voices awarded Sadik a scholarship to cover his lodging in Stockholm, but he needed more funds to cover for travel expenses.

To translate articles from en.wikipedia to tw.wikipedia using the Content Translation Tool. tw.wikipedia only has 607 articles and there are less then 10 active users. The project invited new/potential editors of Twi Wikipedia along with native speakers to become members of the Ghanaian Wikimedia community. On 3 Saturdays in September, 30 Twi speakers were taught how to use the Content Translation Tool to translate articles into Twi and publish them on the Twi Wikipedia.
