- Abstract
The cooperation with Wikipedia and the Wikimedia projects involves institutions, public administrations, communities – sometimes at a territorial scale. Can the cooperation with Wikipedia and the Wikimedia projects be considered a tool to develop territories and Smart Cities? This short presentation wants to suggest further discussions about this topic. There are several experiences which can be observed as related to the issue of territorial development but further research and discussion should be implemented to analyze the impact and the scalability of the experiences implemented.
