لاتر بلاکڠEast and Southeast Asia and the Pacific is a developing region within the Wikimedia community. There is a significant number of Wikimedia contributors across the regions, and we have grown the community since our first meeting in 2018 and continue to work towards establishing a well-managed hub. This conference will bring participants from various ESEAP communities together to strengthen collaboration and better understand the issues faced in the region and to look for solutions. ESEAP will be hosting Wikimania 2023, the first in-person Wikimania post-Covid. Following on from the last Wikimania in 2020, this conference will bring the Core Organising Team for Wikimania 2023 together to help design Wikimania for the post COVID and climate impacted world. Our last ESEAP regional meeting was hosted by Wikimedia Indonesia in Bali in 2018, and a successful ESEAP Strategy Summit was held in Bangkok in June 2019.
