InternetArchiveBot for Wikidata

Problem: Dead links are not managed in an automated way in Wikidata
Who would benefit: Wikidata and all projects using it
Proposed solution: Adapt InternetArchiveBot to Wikidata and add archival URLs to dead links for URL and external identifiers datatypes.

@Ayack: InternetArchiveBot already does add archive links to Reference URL properties on Wikidata (e.g.). So just to clarify, this proposal is to add an 'archive URL' (and date) qualifier to statements of type URL or external identifier? —Sam Wilson 02:54, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
