[edit]- @Sarah Krichen WMFr: I could take care of this campaign. However, did you announce that campaign on the targeted Wikimedia projects (or project mailing lists)? I've seen the landing page which is really good! But it's not easy to detect communications around that page on the Wikimedia projects. Thanks for providing some links. Then I can create the campaign within a short time. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 20:33, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks you @DerHexer! I asked the community on Wikipedia here : https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:Le_Bistro/20_avril_2022#Demande_de_bandeau. As WP have the bigger community, do you want me to ask the other Wikis as well? Sarah Krichen WMFr (talk) 10:30, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Sarah Krichen WMFr: Yes, I think it makes sense to drop a short message to these pages: c:Commons:Bistro, d:Wikidata:Bistro, fr:s:Wikisource:Scriptorium, fr:wikt:Wiktionnaire:Wikidémie. I will create the campaign tonight with Wikipedia as a first target and will have a look at the other pages, too, and add them if there is no huge objection. I will ping you so that you can confirm the banner before I enable the campaign. —DerHexer (Talk) 10:38, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
- Ok! I have posted the messages on Wikisource, Wiktionnaire, Commons and Wikidata, now we just have to wait for the answers ^^ Thanks again @DerHexer! Sarah Krichen WMFr (talk) 16:01, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

- @Sarah Krichen WMFr: I've created campaign 1 with banner 1 and campaign 2 with banner 2 (Wikidata). Please have a look at preview 1 and preview 2. Please notice that preview 1 only works if you have 500+ edits. Please ask another user who (doesn't) fulfill these criteria, too. Send me your approval and I will start the campaigns. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 21:38, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Sarah Krichen WMFr: Litte reminder. (I know that it has been a weekend. :) ) —DerHexer (Talk) 11:50, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @DerHexer my apologies, I'm sick at the moment (thanks to the covid) so I asked the Wikidata volunteers for help to check if everything is ok ^^ Sarah Krichen WMFr (talk) 15:25, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- Get well soon! —DerHexer (Talk) 15:26, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- It's good for me. Pamputt (talk) 06:51, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks @DerHexer ! @Pamputt and @Envlh checked and it's good you can start the campaigns. Since we are behind schedule, can we display the banner longer? One more week? Sarah Krichen WMFr (talk) 09:34, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Alright, I've enabled the campaign and extended their display by one week. Please note that a there will be a banner about International Museum Day from 4 to 8 May on French Wikipedia but only for anonymous users, as far as I can see in CentralNotice/Calendar. So these banner shouldn't conflict with each other. I will ping User:Ilario nevertheless hereby. —DerHexer (Talk) 10:21, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- PS: I just see in Special:CentralNoticeBanners/edit/WMCH_IMD that other than said in the calendar, they will also target logged-in users (for unknown reasons, the priority for that campaign was set with “high” while the MOOC campaign has the standard “normal” which would result in a having the IDM campaign first fully shown once per day [60,000 seconds before cookie reset] and only afterwards the MOOC campaign; but maybe that's okay with you anyways). User:Ilario, can you please provide a link to the public CN request about IMD and the requested settings since I cannot find it on CentralNotice/Request? Thanks, —DerHexer (Talk) 10:26, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- User:DerHexer I am setting the parameters correctly because only now there is the final list of countries. I am splitting the campaign after received all translations and putting with the high priority only where it is required (i.e. in countries where there are conflicting campaigns without an impression diet but it looks that there are none). For french language it is set with normal priority because both campaign have an impression diet and will not conflict. --Ilario (talk) 17:23, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help @DerHexer, since the banner went online, we have registered +300 registrations!
- I didn't know there were two levels of priority for the banners. I would pay attention to that next time! All the best from France, Sarah Krichen WMFr (talk) 13:52, 11 May 2022 (UTC)
