[edit]Description - Elecciones 2024 is a photo contest that seeks to document on Wikimedia Commons the election campaigns and election events taking place this year in Uruguay. As the campaign is coming to an end and the national elections are at the end of the month, we want to strengthen communication to increase participation.
Metrics - Increase the number of participants to at least 30 people.
Obtain at least 30 photographs of candidates for the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. What banner(s) will you use? What will be your landing page?

[edit]- @Paula (WDU): I have created the campaign and banner (preview, I've only added the logo once which should be sufficient, I think). However, I did not add English projects to the campaign settings because there was no English banner text provided nor the landing page available in this language. Furthermore, we usually expect campaign requesters to notify the local projects about the upcoming campaign (to see vetos or consensus). For a campaign limited to Uruguay, it might be okay without that, but English projects in particular are very strict about involvement (and translations). Let me know how we proceed from here? I can activate the campaign for the Spanish part, of course. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 12:16, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- @DerHexer: You're right, there's no point in posting this banner on en.wiki. Both the banner and the campaign are great! Thank you so much, everything is approved. Best, Paula (WDU) (talk) 18:06, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- I have enabled the campaign. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 19:15, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- @DerHexer: I just wanted to check with you because we haven't been able to see the Elections 2024 banner yet. It's already up and running, isn't it? Paula (WDU) (talk) 17:26, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- You had requested it to be started on October 10, tomorrow. So it shouldn't be running right now. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 17:31, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, I'm sorry. You're right, my mind is somewhere else. Best, Paula (WDU) (talk) 21:02, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
