Venue

[edit]
Holešovice Market Hall, water tank

The youth meet-up will take place in the community space Art & Digital Lab H40 in the Prague (Holešovice) Market.

This creative event space will offer enough flexibility for creative collaboration. Being a non-profit organization itself, it is built on the core values of coworking and inspirational networking for the development of creativity but also digital skills among others. We are very happy to work with such an organization.

The Holešovice Market Hall has been coming back to life in recent years, opening most of its buildings to the public, a dynamically growing space that was recently connected to the other side of the Vltava river by the Štvanická footbridge. The more popular name is HolKa, however, as it connects two popular Prague districts, Holešovice and Karlín.

Prague

Prague is the capital and largest city in Czechia, the 14th largest city in the European Union and the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated in the north-west of the country on the Vltava river, the city is home to about 1.3 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of 2.6 million.

Prague has been a political, cultural and economic centre of central Europe complete with a rich history. Founded during the Romanesque and flourishing by the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque eras.

Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The city has more than ten major museums, along with numerous theatres, galleries, cinemas and other historical exhibits.
