Wikivoyage/Logo 2013/bn
This page is to organize the 2013 Wikivoyage logo selection process.
Why? Because unfortunately the old logo too much resembles the World Trade Organization's logo.
Process
The procedure, including all rules of submission and participation, are available at Logo selection procedure. We invite translations into all languages of that process.
All contributors are invited to submit potential logos for review, in accordance with the rules set out there, with one exception. If you entered a logo into the 2012 Wikivoyage logo selection process and released it to the public domain at that time, you may enter it again for consideration in this process. In that case, your submission of the logo for consideration constitutes your acceptance of this modified 2(b) of the rules set out there:
- 2.(b) You must already have the rights to the submission in order to license them; therefore, you warrant that, (1) unless your submission is an attributed modification of a logo design submitted for consideration by someone else or (2) you submitted your design in the previous Wikivoyage logo process (Round 1; Round 2) and released your design to the public domain at that time, you are the owner of all copyright, trademark, moral, publicity, and other intellectual and proprietary rights to the proposed logo design and that it does not violate such rights of any third party.
Please note that entering a submission constitutes your acceptance of these rules.
First round logo voting was at Wikivoyage/Logo/2013/R1/Gallery and ended at 23:59 UTC, ১ আগস্ট ২০১৩.
The finalist modification period was at Wikivoyage/Logo 2013/Finalist review.
The final logo voting was at Wikivoyage/Logo/2013/R2/Gallery, and ended at 23:59 UTC, ২৯ আগস্ট ২০১৩.
Voter eligibility
Any contributor registered on any Wikimedia Foundation project prior to May 31, 2013 is eligible to vote. The process will be using weighted voting to ensure fair representation to Wikivoyage contributors. Wikivoyage contributors include anyone who has made 50 mainspace edits to Wikivoyage prior to May 31, 2013.
If you vote for more than one logo, please vote for them in order of your preference. The first one you choose is your first choice; the second one, your second choice, and the third one is your third choice. Your votes will be tallied in that order.
This is not a secret ballot. Your choices are recorded in your contributions and are consequently publicly visible.
