Wikivibrance International Youth Day 2024/Home
Overview
[edit]With over 1.8 billion young people in the world today, their energy, creativity, and drive have brought about unprecedented levels of global youth engagement. Young people are increasingly stepping up as leaders and innovators, creating solutions for pressing global issues and proving their capacity to lead change. Recognizing their potential and contributions is not only an investment for the future but a necessity for the present.
The International Youth Day (IYD), celebrated annually on August 12, provides a unique opportunity to highlight and amplify the voices, actions, and initiatives of young people worldwide. The main goal of IYD is to draw attention to the issues faced by youth, celebrate their achievements, and encourage their meaningful engagement in various spheres of life.
