These are the Greetings which are to be placed on the disc alongside featured articles and lists from Wikipedia when the Part-Time Scientists launch their mission to the Moon in 2017. Please help us by translating these greetings into your native languages.
Greetings
A world in which every single human being has access to the sum of all knowledge, this is our vision, our dream. We want to collect knowledge, improve it, and share it freely – because knowledge means freedom.
This disc contains information that tens of thousands of people have collected in 15 years, between 2001 and 2016. It is a selection of lists and articles from Wikipedia, the largest encyclopedia on Earth to date. It is the greatest source of knowledge that humans have created with the aim to serve a greater good.
