Wikipedia Weekly Network/Checklist

- Make a new template of show metadata based on TEMPLATE below
- Person, title, what they are known for, Wikimedia username, hashtags, links to meta page for WWN, links for social media
- INITIALIZATION
- Create StreamYard show with Facebook, YouTube, Periscope and Twitch
- Add TEMPLATE metadata you created
- Tick "Schedule for later" and add the time, which will add placeholders in Facebook and YouTube
- YouTube - upload thumbnail image if possible
- SHOW-PREP
- Create lower third static for show
- Create lower third crawl for show
- Copy lower third
- PRE-SHOW
- Host: Load up background image of Wikipedia globe
- Host: Bring in guests into "Broadcast studio"
- Host: Screenshare a Chrome tab, with audio on, to be ready for sharing anything
- Guest prep:
- Make sure they are running Chrome
- Have them screenshare a Chrome tab - clean looking, WITHOUT URL bar, decorations
- Make sure their audio is good - headset is preferable
- Make sure their eyes are in the top 1/3 of the screen (more room for lower-thirds)
- SHOW START
- Start on blank logo
- START BROADCAST
- Start MP4 "Overlay" video for 10 seconds
- End on blank logo
- Bring in video of host
- "Welcome to another episode of Wikipedia Weekly, I'm your host TK"
- Bring in guests one by one with intro
- SHOW BODY
- Intermittently bring in the lower third to display show details - people may be tuning in during the middle of the show, or see a peek of it in their social feed (Twitter and FB especially)
- SHOW END
- Remind folks to subscribe, tweet and comment below
- Remind folks of where to find us
- Roll end MP4 video (TBD)
- AFTER SHOW
- Go to YouTube and change license of video to CC-BY -

- Thank guests in email or social
