Wikipedia Education Programme for teachers at Malappuram
On the 10th of August 2024, a one-day Wikimedia workshop was conducted specifically for school teachers in Malappuram,Kerala, India. The event took place at Life Institute,Manjeri,Malappuram and saw the active participation of 16 teachers from various Government, Aided, and Unaided schools in the district. The workshop commenced promptly at 9.30 am and concluded at 4.30 pm, offering an extensive learning experience for the attending teachers.

[edit]This event was the follow up programme of last year teacher workshop that was held at Farook. In addition to the teachers who participated in the last year workshop, 10 new teachers also participated for this year. The session was inagurated by Mr. Rahmathulla ( HSST Teacher, Malappuram) and presided by Sirajudheen Kidangayam (HSST, Malappuram).
- As a practical component of the workshop, teachers created E posters and content with the help of AI tools that is to be uploaded as files and images to Wikimedia Commons, contributing valuable educational resources to the public domain.
