วิกิข่าว (Wikinews) เป็นโครงการของที่เน้นการร่วมมือการเขียนข่าวและสรุปข่าวในทุกหัวข้อโดยการนำเสนออย่างเป็นกลาง ในหน้านี้จะอธิบายถึง เป้าหมายและขอบเขตของวิกิข่าว วิกิข่าวยังมีโครงการในรูปแบบเดียวกันในภาษาอื่นๆ (ดูเพิ่มได้ในหัวข้อวิกิข่าวในภาษาอื่น) นโยบายในการใช้งาน รวมถึงการเขียนข่าวของวิกิข่าว สรุปที่ Meta โดยข้อเสนอแนะต่างๆสามารถหาดูได้ที่ Wikinews/Thinktank นโยบายของวิกิข่าวแต่ละภาษา จะมีนโยบายแยกจากกันขึ้นอยู่กับการตกลงของผู้คนในวิกิข่าวภาษานั้น
