[edit]Wikimania 2023 Singapore
[edit]Various activities were carried out by our user group at Wikimania 2023 Singapore. Our member Kurmanbek made a presentation about our community. Additionally, a meeting was organized for our community members and those interested. Afterwards, Mehman and HakanIST, the founders of our user group, made a presentation called Strengthening Collaboration among Turkic-Speaking Countries on Wikimedia Projects - Sharing Experiences and Proposing a Hub Implementation. Additionally, a poster about our community being recognized by other participants and our work took its place in the Wikimania 2023 Plenary Hall.

Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2023 Tbilisi
[edit]Our community members met at Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2023 Tbilisi. Our member Kurmanbek introduced our user group to the participants by making a presentation similar to the one he made at Wikimania 2023 Singapore. At the same time, participants were also informed about Turkic Wikimedia Conference 2023 Istanbul. In addition, a poster about the recognition of our community by other participants and the work we do took its place at CEE Meeting 2023 Tbilisi.

Wiki Kadam 2023
[edit]At Wiki Kadam 2023 held in Kyrgyzstan, our community members made a presentation about our community.
Activities
[edit]Turkic Wikimedia Conference 2023 Istanbul
[edit]Before the conference, a brand identity was created for Turkic Wikimedia Conference in order to be used and become a brand in the coming years.
Our community held the Turkic Wikimedia Conference, with Wikimedia Community User Group Turkey, which was last held in 2012 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in Istanbul, Türkiye, in 2023. At the conference attended by more than 90 people, dozens of presentations were made about the Turkic world and Wikimedia projects. Additionally, the workshop of the Turkic Hub described in Wikimania 2023 Singapore was held. Afterwards, a Movement Charter Ambassador Program workshop was held, including your user group.

MCDC Ambassador Program

Our community participated in the Movement Charter Ambassador Program. The goals set within the scope of the program were achieved:
- Translating Movement Charter pages into Turkic languages
- Participants have an idea about the Movement Charter and produce ideas on this project
- Turkic-speaking Wikimedians will be more active in the construction of Movement Strategy
