| This is the co-ordination page for International Women's day events organized in Nepal on 8th - 9th March, 2015.
On the occasion of International Women's Day 2015 Wikimedians of Nepal have organized Women's edit-a-thon and meetup session to create and expand articles related to women empowerment, social discrimination against women, the success story of the inspirable women personalities etc. within the campaign. Achievement[edit]The competition seems to be one of the most successful event ever organized in Nepali Wikipedia. Within two days 76 new articles were created or modified with the massive participation of men and women wikipedians together . Felicitation[edit]The highest contributor during the campaign was being awarded by Token of appreciation and all the participating contributors were being felicitated with the certificate of appreciation for their desirable contribution to achieve the successive goals during the event. This Wikipedian meetup and Edit-a-thon event in the Eastern Nepal city of Rajbiraj was held on 8 March, 2015. We preferred to call it the First Women Meetup in Rajbiraj. A total of 18 Wikipedians and Wiki-enthusiasts attended this meetup that was conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The pre-tea session had a Wiki Edit-a-thon and a formal WikiMeetup after the tea.
