Wiki Loves Earth 2023 in Nepal is an international photographic competition to promote natural heritage sites around the World through Wikimedia projects (mainly Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons). Wikimedians of Nepal UG organized two month long international photographic competition to promote the natural heritage sites of Nepal. The photographic competition is begins on 1 July, 2023 and ended on 31 July, 2023 in Wikimedia Commons.
Coordination and collaboration: The project has collaborated with BCN and Nepalese in Photography- A Group of Professional Photographers in Nepal.
Participation of professional photographers: The event attracted a good number of professional photographers to participate in it. So this project has formed an enthusiastic team of photographers who are willing to contribute to Wikimedia Commons.
Weather condition: This time unexpected weather condition affected our plan on Photowalks and Photorides.
Less Participation from Community: On 16 April 2023 I put a proposal on Nepali Wikipedia Vilagepump regarding call for participation in this event[1] but only few among nepali wikipedian showed interest on it.
