The Wikimedians of Kerala User Group organized a photowalk at the Kerala Folklore Museum in Thevara, aiming to document the sculptures and artifacts displayed in the museum. The event aimed to capture and preserve the rich cultural heritage showcased at the museum.

The Kerala Folklore Museum serves as a significant cultural hub dedicated to promoting and preserving the traditions of South India. Established and maintained by Mrs. and Mr. George Thaliath, the museum houses their extensive private collection, gathered over two decades. With over 25,000 artifacts and architectural pieces on display, the museum offers a fascinating glimpse into Kerala’s artistic and historical legacy.

The photowalk provided an opportunity to enhance the documentation of these valuable cultural assets on Wikimedia Commons. This project was a part of Wiki Loves Folklore 2025 campaign.
