Event Description
The Photowalk – Hospitals & Buildings, Public and Private Educational Institutions organised by Wikimedia Arusha aimed to capture images of hospitals, significant buildings, public and private educational institutions in the region to contribute to Wikimedia Commons and enhance visual documentation.https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/Wikimedians_of_Arusha/Arusha_Photowalk
Goals
Document hospitals, important buildings, public and private educational institutions in Arusha for Wikimedia Commons. Promote community engagement and participation in photography.
Participants
Over 30 enthusiastic photographers participated in the event, capturing stunning images of hospitals and architectural landmarks, public and private educational institutions.
Event Outcomes
1010 high-quality images were uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, enriching the visual representation of Arusha's infrastructure. Increased community interest and engagement in photography and Wikimedia projects.
Event Learnings
