[edit]- The chapter conducted its Annual Meeting and Great American Wiknic on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Yeoria Studios on the Upper West Side and in Central Park, which included our board election.
- We held a multilingual audio-recording event for Spoken Wikipedia on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Brooklyn Public Library, adapting the model of a Wikimedian who was visiting at the time from India.
- The chapter conducted its August Meetup on Sunday August 17, 2014 in New York City.
- The chapter took a suburban excursion for the Westchester County Edit-a-thon on Sunday, August 24 at Briarcliff Manor Public Library.
- Supported Mount Sinai Edit-a-thon at Icahn School of Medicine on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014.

[edit]- Announced UN Maps donation (Wikimedia blog) with United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs on November 19, 2014.
- The chapter conducted its December Meetup at Babycastles gallery on Thursday, December 4, 2014, our first event at this community and venue.
- Following popular demand at the December Meetup, Wikidata Workshop was quickly scheduled for Sunday December 14, 2014, held at a space with Brooklyn Law School's BLIP Clinic.

[edit]- Launch of Black WikiHistory Month national campaign and AfroCrowd initiative in February, supporting Black Life Matters Edit-a-thon at Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and AfroCrowd Kickoff at Brooklyn Public Library.
- Supported ArtAndFeminism global campaign in March, especially ArtAndFeminism Edit-a-thon @ MoMA and Babycastles.
- The chapter held its Wikipedia Day NYC 2015 daylong mini-conference on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Barnard College.

- Supported AfroCrowd's Black Lunch Table Edit-a-thon on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Studio Museum in Harlem.
- Supported Wikipedia Edit-a-thon: Selections from the Guggenheim Collection on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
- Supported Women of Jazz Edit-a-thon with Linked Jazz on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.
