[edit]In August, we held the two-day Wiki-Conference New York 2 at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program.
Oct-Dec 2010
[edit]We held regular community meetups in October, November, and December.
Jan-Mar 2011
[edit]In January, we held Wikipedia Day X at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, as part of the global 'Wikipedia 10' celebrations.
We also held two education-related events at the City University of New York's LaGuardia Community College in January:
- Wikipedia Campus Ambassadors Regional Training, a two-day event, with Wikimedia Foundation Education Program at CUNY LaGuardia
- CUNY LaGuardia Center for Teaching and Learning Follow-up and How to Edit Wikipedia: Hands-on Workshop
We held our first New Work City Newbie Wiki Workshop in February.
We held regular community meetups in February and March.
We also helped facilitate two content donations to Wikimedia Commons in March:
- (the video donation was an outgrowth of our earlier WikiProject Lights Camera Wiki initiative)

We held our New Work City Newbie Wiki Workshops in April, May and June.
In April, we also held two education-related events at Adelphi University:
- Adelphi University Teaching with Technology Conference The Wikipedia Campus Ambassador Program: Collaborating on Open Content and Nurturing Creative Inquiry in Students
- Adelphi University New Media Workshops Join Adelphi in Wikipedia's Campus Ambassador Program
In May, we also worked with Wikimedia Foundation GLAM Fellow Liam Wyatt to hold GLAMcamp NYC at the New York Public Library.
In June, we brought back the WikNYC Picnic to Central Park, and also expanded the tradition nationally with the First Annual Great American Wiknic.
