Gendergap & LGBTI
[edit]This quarter there were three WikiFridays and one WikiSaturday. The first one started on January 27 with 14 participants and the second one happened on February 24 with 7 participants. On March 11 there was an extra edit-a-thon (WikiSaturday) about resistance women. Fifteen participants visited this first part of a triptych. On March 24 the third WikiFriday took place, surrounding the International Transgender Day of Visibility.
#100Wikiwomenchallenge
The #100wikiwomenchallenge started on November 29, 2022 and ended on March 8, 2023. The aim of this challenge was to expand the number of biographies about women in the run-up to International Women's Day. Every day one article about a women was added, in total 100 articles were added. Three participants won a prize by drawing lots.
GLAM
[edit]WMNL hosted one GLAM coordinators meet-up themed 'Meten is weten' which was focused on GLAM-related metrics. 7 participants of various Dutch GLAM organisations took part in the meeting.
WMNL co-hosted two GLAM EU- meet ups for the GLAM project coordinators of the different European Wikimedian chapters, one on January the 10th and one on the 7th of February.
Wiki goes Caribbean
[edit]On the 23th of january an online meet-up was hosted by WMNL to talk about topics surrounding decolonising data and knowledge equity with a group of 12 participants (Wikimedians involved in the Wiki goes Caribbean project and also colleague from Wikimedia Deutschland working on the topic).
Other activities
[edit]On January 28 and 29 the first two Ukrainian writing workshops took place in the Netherlands, with over 20 participants in Amsterdam and Rotterdam learning to edit Ukrainian Wikipedia.
