Wikimedia Summit 2019/Thematic, regional, language-specific meetups/LGBT+ Meetup

The LGBT+ User Group Meetup is one of the regular meetups at the Wikimedia Summit. It is the meetup of the LGBT+ User Group and is open to all participants interested in LGBT+ communities, capacities, projects and content in the Wikiverse.

• Location: Room "Polygon", Wikimedia DE office, Tempelhofer Ufer 23-24, 10963 Berlin
• Time: Friday, March 29th, 21:15-22:30

• Upcoming Wikipedia for Peace events and how to promote them
  • Edit-a-thon at the Europride in Vienna from 11th-16th June 2019
  • Edit-a-thon at the World Pride in New York from 24th-30th June 2019
• As a User Group, we have not always had a consistent flow from one event to another. I would love to touch on the Next Steps we raised at the conference last year (they are here) and discuss if / how we can become a little more organized as a User Group for consistency and reporting.
• LGBT+ in the Strategy Process: How can we advocate for LGBT+ issues and improve the process? What should our user group look like in 2030?
