Wikimedia Singapore is currently a local chapter in discussion phase. Mailing list is Wikimedia-sg (run by anirudhsbh at gmail.com, terenceong92 at gmail.com, my message awaits approval) and the WikiProject Singapore on the English Wikipedia^(outdated).

Current doings

• Create a Wikimedia user group (page is Wikimedians of Singapore)
• Organise more meetups to start real life discussion on setting up a local chapter, see: Singapore Wikimedia Meetup, added September 2015^(outdated)
• Get a chapter wiki created for us at sg.wikimedia.org
  • List the requirements of the wiki at /wiki requirements
• Create a draft constitution
  • Find the legal status of the association
• Marks all related pages as translatable
• Find interested participants
  • Contact Singaporeans Wikimedians using these lists
  • Create a CentralNotice banner targeting registered users in Singapore
    • Write the content of the banner
• Create and translate the Template:User support Singaporean chapter Done
  • Export it to en, ms, ta and zh projects, plus data, commons, meta, species
