Wikimedia Nigeria Foundation board meetings/Resolutions passed in 2021

This resolution was approved unanimously on 24th December, 2021.

Resolved

That;

  1. the word Foundation in the registered name Wikimedia Nigeria Foundation be removed as a matter of urgency and substituted with the word "association" or "initiative"
  2. The Wikimedia Nigeria User Group's solicitors are consequently instructed to submit forthwith the necessary application at the Corporate Affairs Commission in compliance with the Companies and Legal Matters Act 2022.
  3. Solicitors are further directed to keep trustees promptly updated on any requirements to facilitate instruction (2) above.
