Wikimedia Libya Community
Wikimedia Libya User Group is a user group supporting Libyan Wikimedians. It hosts and promotes Wikimedia projects in Libya.
Objectives
[edit]The primary goals of the Wikimedia Community User Group Libya are:
- Promote Wikimedia projects within Libya.
- Attract individuals interested in free knowledge in Libya and provide aplatform for them to develop their skills in this field.
- Develop content related to Libya, specifically, and Arabic content moregenerally across various Wikimedia projects and in all languages.
- Organize meetings, dialogue forums, and editing initiatives that bringtogether those interested in free knowledge in Libya.
- Collaborate on projects with universities, libraries, and other Libyaninstitutions.
- Build the capacity of youth in information skills, open-source platforms,and digital literacy.
