statement (Not more than 450 words) | Wikipedia is a vast storehouse and great source of wide knowledge. But where it's reputation lacks sometimes; is when the authenticity of information is asked. Although many wiki pages are cited by bunch of references and protected from vandalism, but the process of making wiki articles more authentic and reliable, needs more oversight of the board. I have plans to make it happen.
About me I am a computer programmer, poet and creative thinker. I love to programme and think about technical concepts that can develope a application or a website in a revolutionary way. I want to do some innovative and great works which will make the world more better for it's residents. I am using wikipedia since 2014 and contributing to Wikipedia since 2018. My goals If I am elected, then my goals for the development of Wikimedia foundation's operations are set to bring a great change among it's ventures. This changes what I want to make will enrich the Wiki articles by authentic information, upgrade the user interface experience and will be more helpful for the them. Wikimedia foundation has a good number of sister concerns running on, but I want to launch some more projects which will individually be a great experience for the users, at the same time it will enhance the capabilities and user experience of Wikipedia also. If I talk about a specific project then I have plans to launch a project which will help out the users with the pronunciation of new words. I would love to name it "Wikipronounce" Users from all over the world will contribute to it with the correct pronunciation of any word. At the present time, very few audio pronunciation files are seen besides the words on Wikipedia but in terms of numbers they are very little. As a result when a reader is reading about a brand name, or a person or any hard to pronounce word for the first time, he or she has to search it on the internet. In this process what they have to do is:
If they have problems with pronouncing multiple words then they have to repeat this process over and over. Moreover sometimes they don't get the correct pronunciation anywhere on the internet. Which is very disappointing. Once "Wikipronounce" has been launched then there will be pronunciation files attached with every hard to pronounce word on Wikipedia.
Top 3 Board priorities | A transparent and cheerful board which will do it's best for Wikimedia foundation and it's communities.
Community oriented board, which will listen to it's different communties' advice and complaints. Challenge taking board which will make Wikipedia, Commons and other non profit ventures of Wikimedia take new challenges for it's growth and compete the profitable business web ventures of this world.
Top 3 Movement Strategy priorities | Making Wikipedia and it's sister projects more reliable, authentic information containing and vandalism free.
Launching more sister projects of Wikipedia. Introducing new features, making Wiki available in more languages and enrich the existing ones.
