Wikimedia Foundation board meeting notes, 2015-11
Over the weekend of November 7-9, 2015, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees met in person at the Wikimedia Foundation offices in San Francisco. This meeting took place amid staff dissatisfaction with senior leadership -- an issue that was discussed with them by board members before and after the meeting -- and amid concerns around a grant from the Knight Foundation. There were strong ramifications throughout the Wikimedia movement, including the removal of a Trustee the following month, and the departure of the Executive Director several months hence.
