What is the affiliate mission? | Group of users who work on issues related to women and more generally to diversity (territorial, cultural, linguistic, generational, gender, attitudinal and ability, etc.) within the movement wiki. | |
What are the affiliate goals? Link to the strategic plan, if there is one. | The main objective is to increase diversity of any kind and reduce the "gender gap" within Wikipedia and the Wikimedia movement in general. For 2025 is to increase our presence in universities and create a first MOOC on our Moodle site. Train new leaders it is also a heartfelt goal. We also hope to update our strategic plan. | |

Has there been any significant changes in the level of the affiliate membership body (e.g. increase/decrease of number of dues-paying members)? | 40 paying members (non-profit association). Other 30 users signed as members of the UG (as supporters or local organizers). A slight decrease among paying members of the non-profit association, and a slight increase among UG members. | |
Are there any affiliate activities in the past year that were led by affiliate members? Please share the highlights. | Photo contests, edit-a-thons, educational programs (extra curricular programs in schools and high schools, curricular intership in one university). We ideated annual campaigns like Wiki Loves Sport, Wiki Loves Fashion, Interwiki Women Collaboration, Women in Climate Change, co-organized Planetary Science Wiki Edit-a-thon and locally organized others like Wiki Loves Folklore in Italy and Art + Feminism. We are also participating in thematic (Diversity Conference, WikiWomen Camp), regional (Iberocoop and CEE Meeting) or global conferences as Wikimania. | |
