Pilot Program Overview
[edit]This Pilot Education Program in Brazil is part of the Wikimedia Foundation's Wikipedia Education Program and the Global Development efforts. In this page you will find strategies for expanding this program all over Brazil through educational projects. At this stage, we are working with professors and students in Brazilian universities to bring new editors to Wikipedia, among other Wikimedia projects, and to raise awareness about the culture of collaboration for building free knowledge. For all projects build here we want maintain a close relation with volunteers more involved with the Wikimedia movement in Brazil through Wikimedia Brasil, the mutirões for free knowledge, and in Portugal through Wikipedia Portugal.
