এখন ২০১৮ সালের মার্চ। তুরস্কে উইকিপিডিয়া রহিতকরণ করা রয়েছে। গত ১০ মাস ধরে তুরস্কের জনসাধারণ বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে বড় মুক্ত জ্ঞান থেকে বঞ্চিত হচ্ছেন। এছাড়াও গোটা বিশ্বের জনতা তুরস্কেরা নাগরিকদের থেকে শিক্ষার্জন করতে পারছেন না।
আমরা তুরস্কে উইকিপিডিয়া নিয়ে কথা বলতে চাই। একই সাথে তুরস্কে উইকিপিডিয়া ওয়েবসাইট থেকে বাঁধা উঠিয়ে নেয়ার ব্যাপারে জনগণের সাহায্য চাই। এরই প্রেক্ষিতে আমরা এক সপ্তাহব্যাপী বিভিন্ন সামাজিক মাধ্যমে #WeMissTurkey দ্বারা জনমত গড়ে তুলবো।
