Wikimedia Europe/General Assembly/2025

The 2025 General Assembly of Wikimedia Europe is a yearly event for all affiliate members that will take place on April 25-26 (Friday-Saturday) 2025 in Prague Czech Republic. Read more about the last year's General Assembly.

Registration

We invite our members to register for participation via form shared in Wikimedia Europe Updates mailing list, until February 25th 2025. You can also request the link to the form by sending email to network@wikipedia-europe.eu.

Please have in mind that we aim to have as many members represented as possible and with a limited number of participants we can host, this means we will prioritize having more organizations represented over having a larger group from one community. You can register via the form above and we will follow up with confirmations for participants once we have an understanding of the number of people interested in attending from each organisation. We will send confirmations by February 28th 2025.

Travel and accommodation costs are covered by member organisations. To facilitate equitable participation, members with limited financial resources who face difficulties in participating in person, have a possibility to reach out to Wikimedia Europe to discuss available support. In such cases, please send an e-mail to network@wikimedia-europe.eu.

Side Event

Members are invited to participate in a side event: Affiliate-Communities Relationships Workshop on April 27 (Sunday), 2025. Registration to the side event is included in the main registration form.

Agenda

We are in process of designing our agenda for the General Assembly. We can confirm that the event will start on Friday April 25th at 12:00 CET (noon) with lunch for participants and end on Saturday April 26th at 16:30 PM. Side event will take place on Sunday April 27th from 10:00AM to 15:00PM CET.
