[edit]- The Public Domain Project supports the 'Public Domain Jam 2011' (slogan: The world 70 years ago belongs to all of us!). An intergenerational New Year's brunch for children and adults. This took place at Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich.

[edit]- With the signed contract between Wikimedia Deutschland and the Public Domain Project, as a thematic organization we are now a Wikimedia movement affiliate

[edit]- Channel K donated us a Studer B67A tape recorder for the digitization of our reel-to-reel tapes

[edit]- The first available audio file (digitized with our ELP laser turntable) is the famous Trumpet voluntary (Wikimedia Commons file) by Jeremiah Clarke (1674-1707), which was formerly erroneously assigned to Henry Purcell (1659-1695)
