  • Dinner snacks and drinks will be provided at WMDE’s office and event space (address below) to meet, chat and to toast to a wonderful conference weekend.
Friday, April 22, 2016
6 pm to 11 pm
  • After the end of the first conference day, snacks and drinks will be waiting for you at WMDE’s office and event space.
Saturday, April 23, 2016
6:30 pm to 1 am
  • Let’s have a party and round off Saturday in a club, with music and snacks. The party will be in the HomeBase Lounge again (address below). We will begin the evening with dinner and drinks. A DJ will enhance the atmosphere with classic disco hits and get you in the dancing mood.

  • A last dinner at WMDE’s office and event space will be provided to round off the Wikimedia Conference 2016.

“Thematic Tables”

As mentioned above, all participants are invited to WMDE's office and have dinner snack on several days. In our main room (MOSAIK) there will be tables and benches to hang out and have chat. On Friday evening, there will be some so-called “Thematic Tables”, where people are invited to have chats about specific, thematic issues. So far, we haven the following “Thematic Tables”:

If you are planning a thematic/regional/language-specific meetup, please indicate your interest in the overview below. The event team suggests to use the rooms at the conference venue Verlag der Tagesspiegel from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, for this purpose. In order to be able to better plan ahead, we would like to kindly ask you to indicate your interest in hosting the get-together on Friday in the overview below (see "Comments").
