Following the success of last year’s session Let's make better mistakes tomorrow which focused on recognizing, overcoming and takling about failure, we will be hosting a FailFest and Learning Pattern Hackathon. We will start by hearing a few stories about recent failures from WMF staff and program leaders, and talk about how to identify failures and use the experience as an opportunity for learning. Participants will get a chance to tell stories about failures, mistakes and challenges in small groups before recording the lessons they have learned by contributing to the Learning Pattern Library in a learning pattern hackathon. The event will be on Friday evening after the final conference session.
