The Wikimedia Community User Group Zambia is a community of individuals who are passionate about creating and sharing knowledge. We are a group of volunteers who work towards the common goal of improving the quality and quantity of information available on the internet. Our community is open to everyone who shares our values and wants to make a positive impact on society.

Problem statement:

  • In Zambia, access to reliable and accurate information is limited, especially in rural areas. This has resulted in a lack of knowledge and misinformation, which can have negative impacts on people's lives. There is a need to create a knowledge-rich society that is equipped with accurate and reliable information that can help people make informed decisions.

  • The Wikimedia Community User Group Zambia is a platform that provides an opportunity for people to contribute to the creation and sharing of knowledge.
