| Abstract:
"Wikipedia for Women" is an innovative and impactful initiative launched by Wikimedia Armenia, aimed at addressing the significant informational gap concerning women and their rights on the Armenian Wikipedia. This project is not just about adding more articles; it is about ensuring that the contributions of women and issues related to women's rights are adequately represented and accessible to Armenian speakers. Implemented through panel discussions to uncover informational gaps, workshops and edit-a-thons, it educates and empowers contributors to create quality content about women. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?
This project is an outstanding example of how to cover the informational gap related to a specific topic. This will be a good opportunity to share a successful project concentrated on women with the Wikimedians from the CEE region which will enable others to localize the project and implement it in their corresponding communities. | |||
