| Abstract:
Wikimedia Eurovision is a community user group focused on the Eurovision Song Contest and associated events, currently in formation. This UG aims to bring together Wikimedians interested in improving Wikimedia projects with content about the Eurovision Song Contest and associated events, support Wikimedians in sharing more information across the Wikimedia projects on the Eurovision Song Contest, and explore other ways to bring Wikimedia and the Eurovision closer to each other. | How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?
Many Wikimedias from the CEE region come from countries that participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. Coverage of this pan-European television and cultural phenomenon is patchy across different languages. We hope to improve the general coverage as well as the language engagement on this topic. | |||
