[edit]- What is the main goal of your project?
- The Wikipedians of Slovenia User Group proposes organizing a dynamic community meet-up aimed at enhancing collaboration and engagement among Wikimedia contributors in Slovenia. The meet-up will offer a blend of educational session, networking opportunities, and a motivational trip to a local museum, fostering a sense of community and enthusiasm for Wikimedia projects.
- Describe which activities you plan to implement
- We plan to host a one-day event:
- Host interactive sessions covering various topics such as content creation tips, editing techniques, Wikimedia tools, and project updates. Encourage participants to share their experiences and insights at the local library
- Schedule dedicated networking breaks to allow participants to mingle, exchange ideas, and build connections with fellow Wikimedians.
- Organize a motivational trip to a local museum
- After the museum visit, facilitate a reflection session where participants can share their impressions, insights, and connections to Wikimedia projects
- Describe your team
- Vera Pelhan (main organizer), Jernej Polajnar (program), and Lan Glad (program) are all highly active contributors to Wikimedia projects, with a proven track record of organizing successful events within the community.

- Our project is highly relevant to a variety of Wikimedia projects, particularly those focused on content creation, community engagement, and cultural heritage preservation. Our target group are Slovenian Wikimedians.
