Wikimania 2022 in the Philippines was a community celebration initiated by PhilWiki Community which ran from August 7th to August 31st held at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, University of Nueva Caceres, Raul Roco Library, and virtually.

The kick-off celebration of Wikimania 2022 in the Philippines was held at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture. Participants discussed the on-going WPWP Philippines and Wiki Loves Earth Philippines campaigns.

Radio plugging of Wikimania

Wikimania 2022 was promoted in radio stations wherein the community members also discussed the promotion of Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons in the Philippines.

Meet-ups

Wikimania is all about physical gathering and meeting fellow Wikimedians. Through Wikimania satellite celebrations, local Wikimedians were able to get together to learn, make connections and collaborate with others.
