• Getting started with organizing Wiki Loves Monuments
  • This session was so educative more especially to us new comers. Knowing that it is possible to organize Wiki Loves Monuments as a way of documenting our cultural heritage was an eye opener. this project on its own has the capability of spreading and introducing Wikimedia projects to different parts of the country.
  • The project also has the capability of attracting new participants and editors across the country.
  • It can also be found interesting to photographers hence increasing contribution to Wikicommons.
  • Having done my research and realized that it has never been organized in my country it became 1 of my topics of interest.
• Wikifunctios-New Project
  • Learning that there are functions that can be used to analyse data in wikipedia was interesting
  • As a new project it caught my attention and i am willing and interested to learn on how different functions can be used in wikipedia.
  • Learning on how wikifunctions can be used to extract and display natural language text.
• Strategy on Running Wikimedia Communities of Taiwanese Indigenous Languages on Wikimania 2022
  • As an upcoming community i was so interested on learning how other countries are running their communities.
  • I have learnt that the community needs to be trained through workshops and after training competitions can be organised to empower and encourage users to use the skills they have acquired during training.
  • Members of the community should be encouraged to participate in both local and international events in order to improve their skills.
  • Communication is key to keep members of the community engaged at all times

How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?

• I participated in the Guess What Trivia game and it was fun.
• I watched different dances and the music performance
• I also watched the awards and celebrated with the winners.
