1. The Opening Ceremony

2. Leadership Development Working Group: I learnt that anybody can be a leader in the community and is not just referring to the Administrators of Wikipedia and the several affiliate groups across the continent. Another takeaway from the session is knowing that investing in people leadership skills can lead to a successful project and movement sustainability. And also, noting that leadership is a collective input and not that of just an individual.

3. Challenges of building a community were also one of the sessions I really enjoyed, it was very relatable and the speakers also tried to put themselves in the shoes of a person just joining the Wikimedia movement.

How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?

I used Pheedloop to connect with other people. We had a virtual gettogether where we made toasts to a bigger community.
