1. I enhanced my skill set on how to edit for Wikipedia at one of the sessions. It was a great experience as it had been a while since I last edited and was, thus refreshing to relearn the skill and try my hands on it, too.
2. The need to volunteer as a means to serve, but not utmost to earn material reward, was shared at one of the Wikimania sessions I graced. This was timely since this mindset makes me now want to give off my best without thinking of being materially rewarded; this is a helpful idea I hope to translate throughout my life.
3. I was impressed with the time participants spent together engaging in bonding-related activities such as having a meal and playing games after Wiki Commons was introduced to us, at one of the Wikimania sessions I attended. For me, this drummed home the need to have time for leisure even as I consider building my profile in the Wiki space. That was probably my biggest takeaway.

The in-person nature of the sessions I attended allowed me to connect with people in-person and share in the joy with them. I spent Wikimania 2022 with.I participated in the activities, particularly the network sessions.
