How did you attend Wikimania (virtually or in-person)?

I attended virtually

What did you spend the scholarship funds on?

I spent the scholarship fund on internet data, food and diesel for a generator

Takeaways – choose 3 specific Wikimania sessions you attended and describe your key take-aways per session.

I attended the Climate Change session and I benefited a lot. My key takeaway from this session was the need to take responsibility of our environment and how our activities are contributing to making the earth inhabitable. There are also ways on how we can better take care of it. The session was quite educative

I also attended the Hackathon Technical session which was very good. My key takeaway through this session was understanding the underlying technical part of editing wiki. IT was eye-opening and very useful.

There’s also a Wikimedian of the year 2022 session. My key take was recognising editors who have stood out with quality contributions and engagements. It was very fun and joy to see that. Congratulations to everybody.

How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?

I connect with friends through chatbox mostly. I was great meeting everybody.
