How did you attend Wikimania (virtually or in-person)?

In a virtual way I attended wikimania 2022

What did you spend the scholarship funds on?

The funds from the scholarship for virtual attendance at Wikimania were used for: - Take a good connection with good fluidity in terms of speed. - Occupying my nephews has other activities so as not to be disturbed. - Take accessories like a good headset to better enjoy the interaction.

Takeaways – choose 3 specific Wikimania sessions you attended and describe your key take-aways per session.

I attended several activities but this one really touched me:

The discovery of the sound logo. I didn't even know about it. Thanks to Wikimania I had the chance to discover this which offers a new way of identifying Wikimedia content across a range of possible uses and offers flexibility in that it can be adapted over time to fit different types of content while still establishing an association with Wikimedia.
Writing about Women in Wiki History: Experiences and Good Practice Moderated by Andrew Lih, Camelia Baban, Kelly Doyles, Rosie Stephenson... This session was about bridging the gender gap where there is a very low representation of women on wikis. Then, the tracks of solution were developed as the partnership with the 100 pages, and the objectives that we hope to reach. It is a friendly and extraordinary debate leading to the approaches of solutions.
Launching the organization of wiki loves monument. Animated by Kristina Velaga, we had the chance to understand better the subject that we already knew but with a magnificent clarification because since always I thought when we speak about wiki loves monument that it is about the monuments dating at least 80 years of age but thanks to wikimania I had the chance to know that it is about any building realized by the man and inaugurated by an official This has changed considerably the idea that I had of the campaign and thanks to this in my training that I organize in my community and beyond I will put a point on it.

How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?

With the other participants, who have the same interest as me in the activities we exchange in the chat directly or in the telegram group of wikimania where everyone gives his impressions and idea of each activity.

At the same time we celebrated online by making a summary each day of the activities and what we liked or disliked with people I already knew thanks to the visual activities organized by the community.
