Background.
[edit]- Lexemes play a vital role in language development, the reasons for saying this are not far-fetched, and for that, we embarked on lexeme creation in our previous projects. This project seeks to create more lexemes to cover the various parts of speech and also to improve on alraedy existing lexemes that lack senses or forms.
Activities
[edit]- Participants will improve already existing lexemes that are without forms or senses. here
- Create new Dagbani lexemes from the various parts of speech such as nouns, verbs, pronouns, adverbs, etc...
- Create awareness of the contest on Social media.
Rules
[edit]- Every lexeme that is created should have at least one form and a sense.
- Participants should search thoroughly for a word to be sure of its non-existence before creating it as a new lexeme to avoid duplicates of lexemes.
- Make sure the words are spelled correctly, consult for the correct spelling of words if need be.
