Wiki for senior citizens Network Shesaid 2023

The SheSaid campaign is an initiative of Wiki for Senior citizens which focuses on boosting the visibility of female leaders by creating and improving Wikiquote entries related to them in order to celebrate and raise awareness of them. Since its November premiere, the campaign has seen incredible success.

This year, Wiki for Senior citizens is excited to actively participate in the #SheSaid campaign as part of the initiative's ongoing commitment to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of remarkable women leaders across the African continent and solving the problem of gender inequality and underrepresentation of African women in the Wikimedia space. AWW believes in the power of knowledge sharing and amplifying the voices of inspirational women.

Throughout the campaign, we have a ton of engaging and instructive training sessions planned. After attending these workshops, participants will have the abilities and information necessary to significantly contribute to the creation and upkeep of Wikiquote entries that highlight accomplished women from Africa and beyond.

By making sure that the voices and stories of these incredible women are heard, honored, and shared with the world, we can collectively have a profound effect.
